Hold Fast Studio is the design practice of Kevin Korpi (👋🏼 that's me).
I started as a copywriter in Tokyo, which taught me to think in systems before pixels. That's probably why I never stopped doing both strategy and execution. Now I work with founders who need design leadership that understands both product strategy and craft execution. Most designers do one or the other. I do both.

My process is pretty simple. I work with two companies at a time.
$15–25k/month. Three-month minimum.
I charge a fixed fee for projects or work on a monthly retainer for ongoing engagements. Either way, we agree on scope and timeline upfront. You know what you're getting, when you're getting it, and what it costs before I start.
My approach is fast and direct. I don't do month-long discovery phases or endless process. I prioritize getting designs to a place that feels real, quickly, so you have context to make decisions and keep moving.
After our kickoff where we dig into your product, users, and constraints, I start designing. Strategy and craft happen in parallel. You'll see work early and often. Sometimes it's multiple directions to explore, sometimes it's one strong direction with variations. Whatever I show you, it's my best work.
We iterate based on real feedback. I'm not precious about the work. If something isn't landing, we adjust. The goal is shipped product that works, not perfect design files.
I work directly with your engineering team to make sure what we designed actually gets built. I'm in Slack, reviewing builds, making adjustments. I stay engaged through launch and beyond to see how it performs.
